I am a senior research fellow at the Queensland University of Technology. My research experience is in theoretical and computational modelling of particle dynamics and diffusion, and magnetic resonance characterisation of diffusion in tissue and biomaterials. In addition, I have industry experience in computer software and hardware engineering, 3D visualisation and simulation, and solar thermal energy research. Presently, I lead the biofabrication research team within the Biomaterials and Tissue Morphology research group at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation. Our goal is to develop technology for the fabrication of customised patient specific scaffolds for tissue engineering using advanced 3D printing. My quantitative and problem solving skills as a physicist complement those of the multi-disciplinary team of biologists, organic chemists, clinicians and medical engineers. I am also passionate about learning and teaching and lecture undergraduate physics at all year levels from introductory to advanced.
