Key Responsibilities:● Ensure safe, smooth, reliable and efficient operation of the combined cycle power plant [Gas Turbine (GE FRAME 9E.03, MARK-VIe control system), Steam Turbine (GE Nuovo Pignone, MARK-VIe control system)].● Operation of Ingersoll Rand Gas Booster Compressor and Instrument Air compressor, N2 Generator.● Operation, Line up & Monitoring of CEP, BFP, CCW, MCW, ACW, GSC FAN, VACUUM PUMP, DM Transfer Pump, Chemical Dosing Pumps.● Performing the Startup, Shutdown operation of all the Auxiliaries, Gas Turbine & Steam Turbine.● Communicate with NLDC regarding the Plant load variation as well to discuss about the Plant Shutdown/Startup.● Maintaing the Plant Load as per NLDC Demand.● Observe any abnormal condition of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries. And take necessary steps for the smooth operation of the plant. ● Performing the switching operation of 230 KV GIS, 6.6 KV & 0.4 KV switchgear during Black Start as well as any abnormal situation.● Monitoring of GIS, GT and ST Power Transformers, Unit Auxiliary Transformers, MV and LV Switchgear, Unit Service and Station Service Transformers.● Maintain the LOTO (Lockout & Tagout) procedure of the equipment. ● Maintain & Analysis of operational log records, Fuel and Lube oil consumption, Operating status of equipment.● Follow environment health and safety practices on and off duty. ● Performing the 1 MVA Black Start Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) weekly schedule Test Run.

Key Responsibilities:• Operating and Controlling of Power-generating Equipment either on DCS orthe panel.• Operation and Maintenance of 78.5 MW gas-fired simple cycle power plantcomprising,- 2×41.3 MW GE LM6000PC Gas Turbine (LPT 3600 rpm, HPT 10800 rpm),- 2×63500 KVA Brushless GE Brush Alternator, 100/133 MVA 11.5/230 KVAIS Substation, 750/1 CT, 230/0.110 KV PT,- Water Treatment Plant (12 Ton/Hour),- 2×1893 KW, 11KV motor-driven Gas Booster Compressor,- Atlas Copco Instrument Air Compressor (ZT 75, IR), 2×45 m3/hr Maxigas N2Generator,- Fire Fighting System (CO2 & Water Hydrant).• Handing of Emergencies like tripping of any machines or plant Blackout, etc.and restore normal operating conditions.• Planning, arranging and attending all type of corrective, preventive,breakdown and scheduled maintenance work.• Supervising the technical stuff and arranging necessary training for them.• Ensuring plant operation with maximum efficiency by analyzing GTPerformance, Operational data, etc.• Producing necessary plant service reports, site reports, shift reports,component changedocumentation, logs, and other related official works.
