For this position, I directed 90-members of IT project teams in the management of the 45M BRL (€10M) project portfolio for the largest private sector fuel distributor in Brazil. I utilised Agile/Scrum methods to control time schedules and costs for technical product development initiatives supporting retail, marketing, pricing, and sales teams along with major customers. I administered large budgets and controlled project costs. ☛ Created Project Management Office (PMO) structure to establish governance of over 90 projects annually and provide real-time scheduling, finance, and capacity information supporting decision making by senior managers. ☛ Improved quality and optimised effectiveness of solutions through increased IT team engagement and expanded collaboration with business teams.☛ Directed completion of more than 30K development hours for projects ranging from creation of applications to implementation of Cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) software to support sales teams.

In this role, I led a team of 150 high performing IT professionals in executing secure development procedures, applying DevOps practices, and performing tests for application performance management (APM) and software architecture reviews to ensure quality and performance of digital solutions. I was recognised as a technical expert by the senior leaders for strategic decision making related to IT architecture, governance, and procurement for Board presentations.☛ Implemented lean management approach to unify software development processes, establish governance model supporting management metrics, and develop cohesive, goal-focused IT development team.☛ Defined team roles, built processes and artefacts, created factory development and testing model, and facilitated training of more than 150 team members and contractors to support implementation of ALM tool.
