He has added value to over 80 corporate clients across 4 continents, won 43 local & global awards, created 5 products currently licensed by corporations & created over 140 new jobs.Between his immersive corporate executive roles, projects & contracts, currently as the Chief Experience Officer at VMLY&R (the Global Brand and Customer Experience Agency), Imran is also the founder & director of several pioneering businesses including Idea Pioneers (a leading innovation management, marketing technology, CX, EX and loyalty practice), App Juice (an exciting mobile app development studio) & Internet Marketing & Innovation Agency (an award-winning digital marketing & technology agency), amongst others. He is also the founder of revolutionary technology products such as ShieldForce (the leading panic, safety & anti-GBV mobile app platform), EventForce (a revolutionary employee engagement and event management mobile app platform, and IdeaForce (an affordable and scalable IMS for emerging economies).Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Imran was the Marketing Manager for Edgars Club, Credit, Cash Card, Financial Services, e-Commerce, Events & Sponsorships at Edcon, before moving to SA’s biggest healthcare administrator where he championed innovation (at Exco level for the AfroCentric Health Group) & loyalty (via a JV with Old Mutual.) Before joining Edcon, Imran was the Head of Marketing for Momentum’s loyalty programmes, Multiply and Save Thru Spend.Imran is the founder of the award-winning IdeaForce IMS (Innovation Management System), the AuditForce suite of Loyalty, Innovation & CX audits & EventForce, a break-through feature-packed employee engagement app suite.He is a serial award winner & his leadership translated into AfroCentric Health, Edcon & his own businesses winning 43 local & international awards. Imran has worked with over 80 brands in the retail, financial services, healthcare, ICT, consumer electronics, entertainment, sports, transport and NGO sectors.He also serves as lecturer at Wits Business School. He graduated with an MBA from UCT’s Graduate School of Business in 2005, where he won 3 gold awards. He has served as a Board Member at the DMASA, and also as judge for the Assegai Awards.
