I am look for a job working in the primary sector however, I am open to any teaching opportunity. I have experience in KS1, KS2, KS3 and SEND. March 2020: I have always been interested in teaching from a young age, I have an incredibly caring nature and I wanted to turn that into something productive. At the age of 13, I was given the opportunity to work as an assistant dance teacher where I would teach, care for and manage multiple groups of children from the ages of 2-11. I did this until I joined university and invested most of my time into that which involves volunteering in many diverse school environments. This allowed me to work for a high school in my local area as a volunteer nurture support worker which confirmed my love for teaching. In this role I was working one to one with children with a variety of needs including dyslexia, autism and hearing impediments. This experience built my confidence to work with older children whom are more vulnerable therefore they needed support with school work as well as help with their own wellbeing. It made me more aware of how personalised teaching is because every person is so unique. I'm very interested in promoting interventions to tackle the rising mental health epidemic; My ambition in life is to create children's books that involve diverse people without it being the main context.
