I am Imogen Lloyd, an environment graduate and an assistant team manager at Ty Krishna Cymru, a charity that runs The Atma Lounge, an outreach cafe in Cardiff. I have a HND in Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change from University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where I learned about the importance of caring for our planet and its inhabitants. At The Atma Lounge, I manage the operations and the free meal hub, where we provide hot and fresh plant-based meals to customers and to those in need in the community, through our partner charity Food For Life Wales. I am passionate about sharing the beauty and benefits of a wholesome plant-based diet, and helping those facing food insecurity. I have also developed my skills in goal setting, habit building, and self-reflection, through daily accountability vlogs and evening reflections, which I showcased in an e-portfolio as part of my studies. These skills have enhanced my employability and my dedication to my work and my values. I am looking forward to being a bigger part of the fight to save our planet and the souls inhabiting it.

  I am currently employed by Ty Krishna Cymru as the manager of their outreach café The Atma Lounge. It is not only managing operations but also managing the free meal hub the we run from the café through our partner charity Food For Life Wales. Where we provide hot and fresh plant based meals to be picked up from the Atma Lounge those in need within the community who are facing food insecurity. I feel so very grateful to not only be providing fresh, wholesome plant based meals to customers but also to those who may not normally have access to such food.
