Actively involved in Process Safety & Contractor Safety and Behavior Based Safety Steered safety initiatives across the country covering over 12 locations assisted by a team of 30 Safety Staff Mapped countrywide safety needs and designed / implemented responsive safety management system to ensure complete operational safety  Conducted specialized health & safety training sessions for the project management team and all associated project personnel including contractors and their teams Carried out safety inspections and safety audits on Monthly basis and ensured implementation of necessary corrective actions wherever non-compliances were identified Maintained regular coordination with external auditing agency (TUV) for certification and surveillance audit to secure OHSAS 18001and ISO 14001 certification Systematically investigated cases of Near Miss and Dangerous Occurrences to identify root causes for implementing preventive measures  Conducted hazard identification and drove risk mitigation initiatives to minimize incidences of losses Reviewed the maintenance schedule for Concessionaire during O&M Period Periodically monitored all works during O&M. Coordinated with construction team for various HSE requirements Met regularly with the Contractor HSE managers to ensure that safe and environmental culture is integrated and to ensure that all key contractors are aware of and share HSE objectives for the project Attended / Participated in safety meetings with contractors for effective implementation.  Advised Administration Department for fulfillment of Welfare facilities.
