I am a dedicated advocate for individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities, drawing on 17 years of professional experience and personal insights from family and friends. As an employment specialist, senior staff member, and employment lead in my current role, I am committed to helping these communities secure competitive employment. I regularly attend conferences and seminars to stay updated and enhance my skills. Currently, I am pursuing a psychology degree to expand my expertise and advance within the Behavioral Health and IDD sectors.As a U.S. Army veteran with 9 years of service as a logistics specialist, I earned several awards for good conduct and commendations before receiving an honorable discharge. My leadership skills have been recognized through my role as a company trainer for new hires, a CPR/First Aid trainer, and my involvement in community outreach through market presentations. I take pride in building strong, lasting relationships within the community and continue to strive for personal and professional growth to better serve those I support.
