Conduct Capital project closeout activities. Work on MOC closeout activities. Review P&IDs and other project related documents including PSI/PSM documents. Marathon Carson Refinery

Manage day to day activities of Design and Documentation department of MPC Carson refinery. Periodic meetings with the Client to ensure alignment with established work processes and internal procedures. Meet with group leads to review workload, address any concerns, get feedback to remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Conduct periodic employees performance reviews to identify their strengths and areas of improvements.

Review all the project related documents to ensure that contractor submits all the required drawings based on their project scope. Also, make sure that the drawing are correct and meet the established company standard and codes. Coordinate the turn around activities with contractor so that critical PSM documents are received before unit startup. P&ID walk-down for checking correctness and modifications, and field sketch Inspection Isometrics. Field verify piping, equipments, vessels, machinery, instrumentation for conformity with the company standards and codes. Update P&ID’s, Inspection Isometrics or any other related documents in order to show the correct as-built conditions. Make sure turn around activities are completed on time and within budget with minimum downtime for the units by making sure that the critical PSM documents are available if needed.

Supervised construction activities for LPG storage tank and cross country pipeline erection.
