Has been given the responsibility to handle a project in client location, serving one of the reputed telecom company, Dubai (27th Sep 2020 to 24th Dec 2020).Has been given the responsibility to handle a project in client location, serving one of the reputed telecom company, Dubai (10th Dec 2019 to 6th Jan 2020).• SAN Administration of more than 8 PB storage environment consisting of EMC VMAX (40K, 100K, 450AF & 950AF), EMC Unity (400,500AF and 650AF), EMC VNX (7500, 7600 and 5600), EMC VNXe (1600 and 3200), EMC VPLEX, EMC RPA and Huawei storage OceanStor 5800 V3 and 5500 V3.• Storage allocation to new build or existing UNIX, AIX, HPUX, Windows, VMWare ESX servers/clusters which includes in VMAX/Unity/VNX.• Configuring and managing EMC Snapvx and clone for critical applications.• Creating DR setup for business-critical application running clusters using SRDF replicationthrough SYMCLI in VMAX, in Unity and through RPA for VPLEX.• Configuration and management of EMC Unity as NAS which includes Filesystem creation, NAS server creation and CIFS/NFS share creation.• Configuration and management of EMC Data Domain, using VTL protocol for taking backup.• Performance monitoring and tuning using Viper SRM/Unimax/Unity GUI• Zoning creation for new host in CISCO MDS SAN switches.• Migration activities which include data migration from VNX to Unity and VMAX, VNX to IBM.• Firmware upgrade of CISCO MDS SAN switches.• DR drill activities(SAN/NAS failover and failback).

•SAN Administration of more than 4 PB storage environment consisting of Hitachi VSP, G200, G400, HUS 150/130/110, Hitachi NAS 4080, HDI, HCP, IBM V7000 Gen2/Gen1, IBM DS series and EMC VNX3200.•Storage allocation to new build or existing UNIX, AIX, HPUX, Windows, VMWare ESX servers/clusters.•Setting up in-system storage replication using SI L1/L2 Pair in Hitachi VSP and IBM FlashCopy for business-critical application running clusters.•Creating DR setup for business-critical application running clusters using Hitachi Universal Replicator and IBM Global mirror.•Configuration and management of Brocade 8510, 6520, 6510, 7800, 5460 using CLI and BNA.•Configuration of Brocade SAN switch backup on weekly basis using both BNA or using automated scripts(self-created).•Configuration and management of Cisco MDS 9148.•Configuration and management of IBM V9150 Flash, IBM V9000 Flash, IBM V820 Flash, IBM V7000 Gen2/Gen1, IBM V5000 and IBM DS series which includes Pool creation, Host creation, Volume creation and allocation to host.•Transformation of tape-based backup solution to disk-based backup solution in the form of Hitachi Data Ingestor(HDI), using Hitachi Content Platform(HCP) as the central repository for DR.•Configuration and management of Hitachi NAS 4080 2-node cluster and EMC Unity 400 for providing CIFS/NFS shares to be used as shared drive for users or applications.•Troubleshooting routine critical issues including threshold optimization, server throughput, ports availability, meeting zoning requirements, one-path down, enabling the path on source or destination arrays, data not migrated, host not seeing storage and storage management problems.•Firmware upgrade of IBM V7000, Hitachi HUS, HDI, HCP, HNAS 4080 nodes and SMU and Brocade SAN switches.•Creating DR setup for business-critical application running clusters using SRDF replication.•Configuration and management of EMC VMAX 100k, VNXe3200 and Data Domain (using VTL protocol for taking backup).
