Program Officer - Essentials Of Migration Management 2.0

EMM 2.0 is IOM's flagship capacity development programme on migration management• Led the development of IOM’s flagship capacity development programme on migration management, including managing the creation of a Handbook with 30 chapters that synthesize IOM expertise on all areas of migration management. • Co-developed 15 chapters of the Handbook in coordination with policy scholars, United Nations Agencies, IOM experts, and former government officials. Themes: international migration law and human rights; family migration; health; integration and social cohesion; return and reintegration; climate change induced mobility; policy monitoring and evaluation; international cooperation on migration. • Achievement: An IOM Guidance Note that informs overall organisational approach to support for policymaking on migration was based on 7 of the chapters I led. • Co-produced training materials in collaboration with adult learning experts: self-paced online and face-to-face modules, trainer’s guide, participants’ manual, power-point decks and short videos for 7 chapters and for the EMM2.0 ToT; 12 job aids.• Coordinated a training needs assessment, user tests and facilitation of pilot trainings. • Supported liaison with the EMM2.0 Group of Friends, composed of government officials based in Geneva, and the EMM2.0 IOM Advisory Committee.• Supported programme development, monitoring and reporting
