If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲.🛩️ 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲? Ever since I can remember, I've been fascinated by engineering and the mechanics behind an aircraft. My curiosity led me to explore more about this field by reading some basic reports on how an aircraft can fly.🙋‍♂️𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 11, I took my first steps in pursuing this passion by gathering some money to buy a book explaining (in a very basic way) how an aircraft can fly. This was the first step of my journey that allowed me to think about the possibility of studying within the aviation industry.👨‍🎓 𝐈 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥, with a final year project focused on materials for nuclear waste storage. My academic journey started in 2019 when I decided to move from my country (Portugal) to follow my dream in the UK, driven mostly by my curiosity and interest in understanding the intricate details of flight and aircraft operations.👨‍🎓𝗜 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹. My choice was driven by my curiosity about how aviation can be revolutionized to be more sustainable. The management in my program provided me with a very good understanding of the importance of developing innovative strategies.⚡ 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 I am a flight operations intern at TAP Air Portugal.
