About Ines Duplessis (Née Baer)

I am a program manager at the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare and Secretary to the EDQM’s Committee of Experts on falsified medical products and related crimes (CD-P-PH/CMED - go.edqm.eu/cmed ). I am also responsible for EDQM activities related to the Council of Europe's Medicrime convention, as well as for the management of a network of experts on borderline products. I have a degree and PhD in forensic sciences with specialisation in illicit drug analysis from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. My studies and work lead me to explore other areas such as criminology, food sciences and pharmacy. Since university I mostly worked in the international environment (UN, EC, CoE), and was dealing with policy support, promoting national and international cooperation and sharing of best practices.
