Ongehinderd is een maatschappelijk gedreven onderneming die zich inzet voor een toegankelijker Nederland. Mede opgericht door BNN Bikkel Gerard de Nooij die op zijn 23ste door een motorongeval een dwarslaesie opliep. Na zijn revalidatie ervaart hij letterlijk welke drempels er in het alledaagse leven zijn nu hij gebruik maakt van een rolstoel. Hij besluit niet bij de pakken neer te gaan zitten en richt Ongehinderd op.Ongehinderd heeft een app en website waarmee mensen met een lichamelijke beperking altijd en overal inzicht krijgen in de toegankelijkheid van publieke locaties. Door het keuringsteam worden locaties getoetst in opdracht van gemeenten en bedrijven. Daarnaast is Ongehinderd de uitvoerende partij voor het Nederlands Keurmerk voor Toegankelijkheid. De informatie is in de gratis app en op de website te vinden, waar inmiddels tienduizenden gebruikers beoordelingen plaatsen.

Na een aantal jaren als accountmanager (Adviseur Beleid & Toegankelijkheid) gewerkt te hebben, heb ik per april 2021 de rol van Manager aangenomen om het team aan te sturen en samen met hen te bouwen aan een toegankelijk Nederland voor iedereen. Dit was een interim positie voor een jaar.
