I am a volunteer at the ticketdesk/cash register/information desk.As well as selling tickets I help with the sales from the shops, answer(touristic) questions from visitors and regularly walk round the Bastei to see that everything is ok and/or answer questions from visitors.

As a volunteer for the ANWB I have mostly helped with guided city walks. The route is by the ANWB but you can add your own information. Furthermore I have checked a walking route, gave touristic information about Nijmegen and helped out with a bicycle light campaign.

Since the bunker needs volunteers to stay open I'm happy to say I'm one of them. Together with another volunteer I open and close the bunker, inform visitors about it, make sure that there aren't too many people inside and answer any questions. I love promoting Nijmegen and sharing knowledge about WWII.
