A new lifestyle boutique hotel operated by Hyatt International, situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site city centre of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Housed in a historic monumental building, with 122 guest rooms and suites designed by the celebrated industrial designer Marcel Wanders, and consistently cited as one of the "hottest" hotel openings in Europe in 2012.

IJssalon Martino is an Ice Saloon well known within the Netherlands, it has received the award for best ice cream of the Netherlands in 2013 and 2014 (Gouden IJs Spatel).
My tasks, duties and responsibilities as an Ice Cream Chef were:
- Scheduling, training and managing of employees
- Constantly improving, testing and creating of Ice Cream recipes
- Supplier contact concerning ordering and testing of products and goods

- Taking and processing of individual and group reservations
- Processing of outstanding optional reservations and adjustments
- Deal with pricing strategy and corporate contracts
- Preparing and constant monitoring of reservations in order to achieve a flawless stay for guests
- Service minded and professionally communicating with guests and travel agents
- Thinking and proposing new yield strategies
- Making sure budgets are met for both rooms and F&B.
- Maintaining prices and availability of rooms
- Creating commercial actions and packages
- Up&Cross-selling
- Providing potential customers with site inspections
