CurrentEducating those involved in senior care communities on the many aspects of hospice care and on the differences between hospice, home care, and home health.Networking with the senior care community to establish relationships between trusted friends and colleagues to provide optimal care options for potential and current patients.Volunteering in communities and local non-profit groups to establish relationships with referral partners and resources.Calling on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare facilities to generate sales for hospice care; relationship development by organizing and attending events and networking groups with industry professionals as well as cold calling; generating, tracking, and following up on leads; initial intake and follow-up of patients in homes, hospitals, and short and long-term care facilities; establishing presence in the community by arranging and hosting outdoor events, meetings, food drives, luncheons, and other events at medical offices and senior living and care communities.Developing and executing plans to market services to target customers and referral sources; copywriting and graphic design for media kits, brochures, newsletters, email marketing, ad copy, attending networking meetings, and new lead generation.
