I joined all these together as an interior design service. Since I mostly specify products from the Innerform brand portfolio, I often don't charge for this service as I make a margin on the sale of the product. This has not been always the case and I have done designs for a fixed fee. If a client requires planning permission I always insist they use an insured professional and often recommended an appropriate Architect.

I founded Innerform in 1994 as a retailer of products for modern interiors, by way of a distraction from my Ph.d research. At the time I had a small property portfolio and noticed a shop for sale in Heaton Chapel with a flat above it the size of a house and was for sale for less than the price of a house. I bought and renovated the property, rented the flat out and was left with a rent free shop which eventually became Innerform.I see so many empty shops for sale these days for tuppence ha'penny and think "opportunity for a young entrepreneur" a home and a free place to do business. Here's a tip change the name to a Live Work Unit and they will sell.
