Before retirement, I worked to apply process and analytic intelligence to solving life sciences challenges in customer engagement, product launch, clinical trials, drug safety, and basic research. Presently, I segued from business to academia through teaching at the University of Delaware's Life Long Learning programs in the humanities, and by teaching overseas twice a year in Development Economics. I am finishing a book on religion and culture conflicts and how they impact development progress. Prior to retirement, i have two decades' experience beginning with web-based customer interaction through product and group affiliation sites. Provided services to deploy large-scale SFA/CRM in major pharma clients. Applied analytics and statistical analysis for segmentation, targeting, promotional effectiveness, and managed care. Developed at Spotfire with Accenture a managed care pricing and pull-through product both companies commercialized. Improved clinical trial effectiveness using SAS statistical analytics to determine more quickly the efficacy of new compounds. I bring process, intelligence, and experience focused on solving pharma's persistent challenges, and a business approach to academic and not-fro-profit disciplines.
