Established Cancer Research UK's Grand Challenge: the world's most ambitious cancer research initiative - a series of £20m awards tackling some of the biggest problems in cancer through global team research on a scale never before undertaken - providing an unrivalled platform for international philanthropy & partnerships.

Drove innovation in fundraising at CRUK: led the development and delivery of Dryathlon® - an award winning multi-million-pound fundraising proposition; piloted the charity's first mobile fundraising app; facilitated cross-organisational innovation driving transformative change.

Led the development of an adventure tour operator specialising in worldwide challenge events. Responsible for strategic direction, product development, and income generation - during a period which saw this 2-person start-up grow into a multi-million-pound sector-leading SME.

Provided 24-hour safety cover and coordination for UK schools on overseas expeditions.

Passed the Regular Commissions Board and Army Air Corps Pilot selection prior to attending Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
