Junyi Academy is the first Taiwan non-profit organization earning Google.org’s donation of US$ 1 million in 2019~2021, which mission is to make all students in Taiwan have basic scholastic ability and all teachers in Taiwan are able to perform tech-blended personalized learning.Until now, Junyi Academy has become the largest online math & science learning platform in Taiwan, with over 1.7M registers and almost 100,000 weekly active users.Leader of the software team + product owner- Responsible for the 1-3 years product roadmap. Need to communicate with the CEO, marketing team, education team frequently, make the product roadmap fits user needs, the organization roadmap, and the technical development.- Lead 5 software engineers, 1 data scientist and 1 designer to maintain website functions and build new features. Our team runs Scrum and OKR.- Lead team members to build SOPs and documents including design system, user feedback collecting flow.Highlight projects- Co-work with Google-er for Actions-on-Google and Progressive Web App projects, our AoG “均一小老師”(Teacher Junyi) become one of the highlight showcase of Google Developer Day in ShangHai.- Integrated content from NanYi, accelerated the timeline of completing K-12 math content from 3 years to 0.5 year. In the project, we also improved our content supporting software architecture and made solid test plans for milestones.

Lead the software team to build product features, with 5 full-stack engineers and 1 UX designer.Highlight projects- Design a new feature with AB test on 3 classes, confirmed that the new feature does increase learning motivation of lagging students.- Design and implement the reward system after each question set, which becomes the most popular feature on Junyi Academy for students.- Design and implement a yearly learning event that engaged 20 thousand students in learning for 6 weeks, including a cache system for a time/computing power consuming leaderboard.- Collect data from Google Analytics and Google BigQuery, analyze data for business decisions and do AB tests.
