Wow, it’s been 20+ years in IT. Since my early days as a Web developer, I developed a passion for business process digitisation and automation. Early projects in the early 2000’s I developed (full stack), a school photography management system, travel booking, auction and dating applications. These early development projects showed me how technology can help the business. In 2012 after completing a Software Engineering Degree I moved into the Enterprise space at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC). During my time at the UniSC I discovered ServiceNow, and my eyes were opened. By using a SaaS, aPass tool a lot of the code I had to maintain as a developer is abstracted and I can focus closer to the Business. ServiceNow what a great product for this. I was involved in the implementation of ITSM, PPM and CSM. I have worked with our business units and have developed solutions to automate and digitise their processes. I have performed Service Now Developer, Architect and Product Management roles working with internal technical staff and external partners. I have a passion for working with the business and digitising their business process. I experience in managing development streams and understand the pitfalls with custom dev and technical debt the advantages of confirming to OOTB principles.
