Currently serving as the lead 508 Compliance Specialist, 508 Compliance Team Lead, and an instructional designer. My experience as a government contract agency involves writing and editing technical documents related to fire and emergency services, personnel management, and Department of Defense technician level training. I am responsible for the development of certification web based training courses, in classroom instructional material, and activity support guides.I collaborate with a diverse group of other writers, programmers, subject matter experts, and graphic designers in an environment with strict and aggressive deadlines. A recent project I lead as instructional designer and project manager for the Office of Personnel Management and Department of Justice on the subject of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking in the workplace. This project was ordered to fulfill the governments obligation to create training because of a Presidential Memorandum. The project attracted the attention of the White House Adviser on Violence Against Women and was selected to be demonstrated at a collective conference of government agency personnel to address the affects of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in the workplace.I have now been placed in charge of the company's 508 Compliance Team ensuring that our training products meet accessibility requirements for information and communication technology (ICT) covered by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Communications Act as required by the federal government.

I performed my college internship for my degree at this company and then stayed on as a on-call and part time writer, editor, and instructional designer. In addition to designing courses, I served as a quality assurance specialist for many of the United States Air Force Department of Defense Firefighters web based training courses and Office of Personnel Management courses.

I was responsible for the everyday operations for the store including closing and opening the location, sales, trade-ins, and promotional material. In addition to providing excellent customer service it was part of my duties to maintain and improve the community in the store by updating and managing the members list, as well as promotions on Facebook.

With Games workshop I was responsible for the continuous development of the hobby community and fulfilling their needs. My experiences involved instructing new hobbyists (youth & adult) in developing their game assets (building and painting models) and game mechanics. I also developed weekly game scenarios, monthly campaigns, and day to day hobby craft seminars. All employees were responsible for the quality assurance and testing of game products and rules both on and off hours. During my tenure I was part of the employee workforce that play tested and taught a new edition of the rules for the Warhammer Fantasy Battles product line. In addition to maintaining excellent customer service standards, I had responsibilities to open and close the storefront, register, and submit the daily end of business forms. Towards the end of my employment at Games Workshop I assisted in the training and management of two new employees to the store, one of which has gone on to become a manager of his own hobby center.
