m-hance are a Microsoft Gold Partner with a predominant focus within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions, also operating under a sub-division, Highcloud Solutions, focusing on NetSuite.My role within m-hance (and Highcloud) is to provide line management and support to the development team and focus on expanding the portfolio of own-IP development, introducing new products to help clients achieve efficiency gains or competitive edge, alongside identifying and introducing complimentary partners and their products into the wider company product catalogue across a wide client base.

Capita Parking Services is a subset of companies within the Capita group that provide intelligent systems and infrastructure for parking and traffic management to both the private and public sector. The flagship company in the portfolio, ParkingEye, is the largest car parking operator within the UK and had pioneered the use of Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, acquired by Capita for £57m in October 2013. Capita Parking Services provide car parking management and related services to household brands such as Asda, Morrisons, Aldi as well as a range of NHS trusts and councils.During my time with Capita Parking Services, as Chief Technology Officer, I took end-to-end accountability for the prototyping, technical delivery and operation of all bespoke software including testing, supporting application infrastructure, R&D activities and defining the long term technical strategy for the business.With my focus for continuous improvement, I was actively involved in building supplier relationships and identifying new technology partners to provide and develop innovative solutions, working closely with legal and commercial teams to ensure quality and longevity to our clients. I’ve worked closely with colleagues within the wider group supporting “big ticket” tenders with a view to apply our technology, capabilities and partner relationships across the public sector and European expansion.

My journey with the core business originally started in 2004 where I was involved in supporting a start-up company, ParkingEye, founded by a non-technical entrepreneur with a view to be disruptive in what at the time was a largely stagnated but dominated sector. I led the design and initial prototyping of a fully automated car park management solution and the two subsequent production systems. Initial big contract wins, demonstrating innovation and efficiency, led to rapid growth where I was able to build software development, research and support teams, operating DevOps practices and leveraging Atlassian and Red Gate products to provide project management, coordination, insight and automation.
