Having worked in the city I joined Rickard Luckin in 1976, I became a Director in 1986 and became MD in 1998. I am a well-known and extremely active member of Chelmsford's business community, a factor which has helped me to establish many worthwhile and long term partnerships with other professionals.Those partnerships complement the wide-ranging expertise already available to Rickard Luckin's clients, and help to provide the overall package of service and solutions - coupled with my personal approach - which I believe is essential in today's business environment.One of my clients commented recently that I am 'no ordinary accountant,' and I think that epitomises my ethos; I have a 'can do and will do' approach to finding the solutions that best suits my clients, and I care about them and their businesses their problems become my problems and I dont rest until those issues are resolvedI believe my current role as director is to be a good communicator with clients, to listen and offer advice, as well as a facilitator - to make sure they have access to the resources and expertise they need.
