Well Planning Project Lead for 3 new drills offshore Angola (West Africa), additionally serving as owner and key contact for the subsurface dynamic modeling work.* Delivered a new 14-well asset development plan, with an expected incremental recovery of 66MM barrels of oil. * Developed an analytical factory model workflow for maturation of 3 new wells with projected 17.6MM barrels of incremental recovery.* Analyzed historical drilling data, allowing for better prediction of loss of circulation events during drilling.* Headed a multidisciplinary team of geoscientists, drilling, completions, and facility engineering professionals in planning of the new wells (working across multiple time zones and locations). * Produced a versatile TIBCO Spotfire dashboard to be used during annual Well Jacket Reviews (annual audit) to simultaneously review well specs, well performance, well work, surveillance tracking, and jacket slot inventory analysis.

Represented Chevron at the Schlumberger Abingdon Technology Center, working on the INTERSECT dynamic reservoir simulator testing and deployment within the Triple Crown industry initiative (Chevron, Schlumberger, and Total E&P). * Performed benchmarking studies, provided consulting services and project support for INTERSECT software deployment.* Co-authored and facilitated in-house training courses related to uncertainty assessment, assisted history matching, and optimization.

Reservoir simulation engineer conducting reservoir simulation studies for a variety of business units.* performed studies on onshore and offshore fields in Kazakhstan, Nigeria, USA (CA) and Angola. * executed projects ranging from OOIP uncertainty estimation to field development optimisation studies with the application of Design of Experiments and a variety of heuristic optimisation techniques* developed and facilitated two internal technical courses (Uncertainty Management Using Design of Experiments, Assisted History Matching)* coordinated a monthly Lunch & Learn seminar series where internal and external petrotech professionals were invited to share their work with CVX audience.

Internship at the Total’s Geoscience Research center in Aberdeen, Scotland. History matching of Middle Eastern oil field using Eclipse reservoir simulator, with application of advanced evolutionary-based optimization algorithms and geostatistical modelling tools

* Conducted regression testing and benchmarking studies of the following software products: Eclipse 100 Black Oil, E300 Compositional, E100/300 PARALLEL. * Responsible for testing and preparation of the manual material for the first commercial release of Petrel RE (specifically the Well Completions module)* performed parallel scalability studies for a variety of model types and geometries, investigating a number of model partitioning approaches

Internship at the Institute of Material Science (Institut für Werkstofftechnik) focusing on the application of hot wire anemometry for gas quenching of metal part of variable geometry.Key responsibilities:* conducted experiments to support and benchmark existing CFD numerical results;* designed and manufactured the experimental setup, including drafting of plans and manufacturing of actual setup in a workshop setting;* investigated quenching efficiency of solid and hollow cylindrical metal parts and proposed design improvements to the quenching setup;* created experimental setup visuals in CorelDraw, which were used in technical publications and presentations.
