o Provides input to Merchandise Manager on order status and supplier capabilities.Responsible for assigned product areas and being the key communicator within theproduct category in the locationo Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities, pre-/production sampledevelopment, costing and production trackingo Communicates order details and requirements to factories and parties concerned, andmanages production process properly to meet quantity, quality, order specification anddelivery dates requirement.o Explain sample specifications to supplier (size, fit, shape, make etc.).o Track per-production fabric with fabric team and sample development and ensurematching of samples against required specifications and quality standard.o Track orders and forecast delays and prevent it or minimize its problems. Proactivelyidentify all production related problems.o Keeps abreast of changing customer needs. Identify and diagnose production problemsand work with suppliers to present alternatives to both buyers and seniors.o Supervises Assistant Merchandisers and monitors order tracking activities to meetquantity, quality and order

o Develop all categories samples; Lab dips & hand loom within given time frame.o Able to prepare accurate consumption, cost analysis and working within approved budgeto Monitor production status on day to day basis and solve production related issue withouthampering the shipping deadlineo Source for trims, accessories and fabrics from overseas and local suppliers.o Handle several numbers orders / styles at a time independentlyo Maintain liaison and coordinate with buyers & suppliers for identifying new products andwork closely with team manager to develop the supplier base and improve the businessprospects.o Take full responsibility for the order follow up it is a must to have a close cooperation withthe other teams, Quotation team & R&D, Technicians, QCs etc.o Establish merchandising cycle (File/ Record keeping/ Sampling/ QC file/ Production followupo Check the Supplier’s PI with Accessories booking & passes to commercial department foropen LC

o Assist in the product development process and production follow up.o Follow up on sample developments and production with a high degree of personalresponsibility.o All required submission as per Buyer`s demand including Sample, Fabrics, Trims etc.o Communication with suppliers for: raw materials booking & delivery.o Critical path management, day-to-day communication.
