Planning, organizing, and executing the video creation process, from concept development to delivering the final product to the client. Include production planning, shooting, editing, and delivering the finished video

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of video editors, lighting, cameramen etc.- Assist in synchronizing video and audio tracks- Record, edit and mix audio tracks- Test and improve sound quality- Add sound effects to recordings- Create and update sound libraries

- Create abstract sounds that evoke feelings or emotions as well as sounds that suggest place, time, mood and atmosphere- Decide when, at what volume level, for how long and from where the sounds are heard- Source and edit music, including using microphones (either in the form of headsets or mics positioned around the stage) to amplify performers' voices- Design a sound system that encompasses a three-dimensional space, which involves the audience as well as the performers- Reinforce and amplify individual vocals, to ensure they can be heard but still belong to the performer, rather than coming from a loudspeaker elsewhere- Liaise with the director and performers, as well as the other technicians involved in the show.

- Maintaining communication with directors and other production staff to ensure that they are aware of any obstacles or issues that may affect the production process- Recording dialog, narration, music and sound effects during filming for use in the final production- Operating equipment including mixers, microphones, digital recorders, cables, and tape recorders- Monitoring the audio quality throughout the production process to ensure that it meets industry standards- Planning and executing sound recording sessions with actors and crewmembers- Adjusting volume levels and sound quality during post-production editing to ensure that the audio fits with the visual component of the film or television show- Setting up and breaking down equipment used during sound recording sessions, including microphones, speakers, mixers, digital recorders, cables, and tape recorders
