Our Learning Through Baseball program provides an exceptional and unique educational experience from the one-of-a-kind classroom setting that is Target Field. Our knowledgeable staff conveys baseball's beauty through a fun curriculum, which adheres to Minnesota K-12 academic standards, that students will engage with and enjoy. The Learning Through Baseball program is rooted in the Twins’ commitment to advancing social equity by removing barriers, increasing access, and creating unique learning opportunities. We leverage the power of baseball to engage students, infuse fun into learning, and build excellence through partnerships and collaborations.

Developed the MLOC Future Stars internship program designed for underrepresented youth in sports. Managed a team of 13 interns over six co-horts to support the development of the MLOC’s initiatives and Final Four events. Led MLOC vendor initiatives, focused on creating and executing an effective procurement process through the design of clear messaging, collaboration with industry leaders, and the MLOC team. Implemented detailed tracking and reporting mechanisms that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in diverse spend.Execution support for Fan Jam, a mobile, an interactive “pop-up” community activation, to promote and drive awareness of the 2019 Final Four, ancillary events and MLOC initiatives, reaching over one million Minnesotans, across sixteen different cities, activating more than 70 events in a years’ span.Executed the NCAA Legacy Project, revitalizing a local community basketball hub by collaborating with key stakeholders and vendors, steering time sensitive deadlines, and managing a six-figure budget, leaving a legacy of impact beyond the 2019 Final Four.Established, built and maintained relationships with local partners, community leaders and agencies to support the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the MLOC operation.And a whole a lot more...
