I’m the Commercial Director at Zodiac, for the Marine and Pool division in Spain. In this role I develop business strategies to stay ahead of market trends, create and implement sales initiatives, create strategies for distribution channels and coordinate with the Marketing Director in order to unify our product range per channel, price positioning, releases etc. Our most exciting work to date was when I initiated the use of modern distribution channels to reach a new customer segment, the DIY or do-it-yourself consumer whose main interest is in creative-recreational looking for Quality, Value and the Experience. Not only did we have fun creating that campaign but we found it rewarding to see the results.Before my position as Commercial Director, I worked as a Product Manager where I was lucky enough to be able to introduce Zodiac Marine and Pool products to the Spanish Market. It was through the success of this endeavor that led me to my current position. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other Commercial Managers/Directors. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client or business unit leader to understand his or her business objectives. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.I have a Law Degree as well as a degree in Business Management. I truly believe that learning is a life-time opportunity so I continue to do so by attending conferences, workshops, etc. to stay abreast within the industry and ahead of the business in general.
