Completed a carbon footprint calculation of an innovative active energy house in Finland, from cradle-to-grave based on the standard methodology for life-cycle assessment. To address the topic properly, I had to build a solid understanding of new energy efficiency standards for housing and the range of sustainable technologies that can be used together with the importance of materials and material sourcing for emission calculations.

EKOenergy is an international green label for sustainable electricity.Over the course of the internship I got a good understanding of the mechanisms for tracking green electricity including the European Guarantees of origin and green energy labelling. I translated various documents into Russian and Swedish, participated in meetings power producers, suppliers, users and associations, helped to create content, took part in the river restauration project, created digital content (photoshoots).
