I was hired to the Sales and reservations department where I got to be a part of starting up the Online Sales team with my superior. My key responsibilities were B2C contact and contact with suppliers such as hotels, airlines and other suppliers, tailor making tours for tourists coming to Iceland training new staff, and making booking and work instructions. Later on when we implemented Salesforce CRM in the department I was on the implementing team and was responsible for making sales templates (HTML). Once the Social Media department was opened I got to be a part of that team, mainly taking care of Instagram and Pinterest, but also doing some Facebook marketing and advertising. The channels we've been using are FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, Pinterest, Vine, Twitter and Tumblr.
