As a data entry team leader, I played a key role in the 2022 federal election post-polling process in Queensland. As a team leader, I managed and led 100 data entry officers and drove the team culture, as well as enhancing motivation through fun and creative ways. I was also required to have strong data entry and computer literacy skills with the ability to work efficiently. The role required to have an impressive attention to detail with an eye for accuracy, and enjoy being part of a busy team.

As the Conference Chair, I am responsible for the planning and execution of the bi-annual International Social Marketing Conference 2022. The conference was originally planned to be hosted in-person at Gold Coast Griffith University. However, given the developments of COVID-19 less than a month prior to the conference, we decided to hold the conference completely virtual. We aimed to still offer the same vibrant programming, impactful networking and opportunities to reflect and connect over the emerging and salient topics in the field. I coordinated the program, communication with various stakeholders and programmed the zoom conference for over 120 attendees.

Domestic Student Recruitment (DSR) is responsible for managing programs aimed at increasing the tertiary aspirations of students from low-socio-economic backgrounds. The Student Ambassador assists in the delivery of the University of Queensland Outreach Program (UQOP) which aims to raise the tertiary aspirations of students from underrepresented groups including those from low-income and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. This involves working closely with UQ Outreach Staff to assist in the development and delivery of the full suite of UQOP offerings to partnering secondary schools.

The UQ Young Achievers Program is an exciting initiative which aims to support the tertiary study and career aspirations of senior secondary school students who might not otherwise have access to university as a post-school option. The Senior Mentor assist in the delivery of the UQ Young Achievers Program (Cohort 9) which aims to support the tertiary study and career aspirations of motivated senior secondary school students from low-income families. This involves working closely with UQYAP Staff and the Student Mentor Team to ensure all program elements, activities and events are delivered in a timely manner to a very high standard.

Girl Shaped Flames is a mentoring program for girls from year 7 to 12, where they can join and be empowered by professional women. We are passionate about investing in the girls of Australia by providing them with support and opportunities. Within my role, I plan and coordinate Camp Courage where girls will be provided with tools to build their own sense of self, confidence and opinions.

The Transition Care Program provides time limited, goal orientated and therapy focused intervention to older people who require more time to complete their restorative process and optimise their functional capacity following hospitalisation.The Program aims to support older people with the potential to benefit from TCP with individually tailored therapy, nursing care, and activity of daily living assistance to enable older people to further improve or maintain their physical, cognitive and psycho-social functioning.

Telerehabilitation uses the internet to deliver rehabilitation services to clients in their own home, workplace or local community, removing access barriers such as location, transport and mobility. Within my role, I performed school-aged screening assessments, determined diagnoses with the guidance of my clinical educator and outlined therapy plans all whilst maintaining documentation to meet procedural and regulatory requirements. I also developed and updated new games and resources in response to identified needs within the clinic.

Activ8 Kids Entertainment was formerly known as DJ BRAD, which was a small business starting back in 2010 doing Kids Parties & Disco’s. The Entertainer regularly go out each weekend, and occasionally during the week attending to many Kids Birthday Parties, Disco Events, School Holidays and going to a number of different Schools around Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba entertaining Kids at disco’s. I hosted and facilitated a variety of party games and playing music and songs suited to the event.
