Hello! My name is Iris Rivas and I am a third-year Master in Professional Accounting student at the McCombs School of Business pursuing a BBA degree in Accounting, and CPA licensure, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. As an active student on campus I've had the opportunity to immerse myself in organizations like the Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) and the Association of Latin Professionals for America (ALPFA). Additionally, serving as a McCombs Success Peer Mentor has allowed me to guide and mentor freshman in the McCombs Success Scholars program, maximizing their experience at The University of Texas at Austin! This summer I successfully completed my internship at Ernst & Young as a Launch Audit and Tax Intern, where I rotated within their Public Audit and State and Local Real Estate Tax sectors.
