Hi! I'm Iris van Dam student at Breda University of Applied Sciences. Right now I am in my first year of Leisure and Event Management. I really like leisure and being with friends myself, but wanted to know why and how people behaved in their own leisure time and that's why I chose for this studies. When I'm working on a project I really want to get the best results and I am eager to learn new things that can help me in the future. I love problem solving and right now during a pandemic there's always some problem in the leisure industry. That's also my answer when people will ask "why working in the leisure industry when there's almost no leisure right now because of the restrictions". There's always something to do or solve and that's why I really like studying in this sectorI of course like to go to parties or festivals myself and really like to make new contact with people who I meet there. I think connecting with people, especially while studying in the leisure industry, is very important. I think myself as a very socially and going out person.
