Data Science Manager within Innovation Team at ICON plcWorking as a member of the Innovation Team my responsibilities relate to the development of Proof of Concept analytical models to enable ICON leverage data to gain a competitive advantage in the planning & operation of a clinical trial.Working as part of the Advanced Analytics partnership between ICON and University College Dublin to investigate the potential for use of machine learning techniques to build predictive models around the enrollment of patients in a clinical trial.Other responsibilities include the use of clustering techniques to identify potential fraud in a clinical trial.Primarily work with R along with SQL Developer and Tibco Spotfire.

Lead BI Data Analyst for SSE AirtricityResponsible for providing data analysis and business intelligence insight & reporting for SSE Airtricity. Works, in conjunction with the Digital, Marketing & Business Improvements teams, to will build forecast models for the benefit of proposed digital services, helping build sound business justification for future investment and supporting evidence based decision making.Also works, in conjunction with Marketing and Content teams, to segment customer database to support & track the response to targeted marketing & customer awareness campaigns.Weekly responsibilities included the development of ad-hoc reports, targeted customer mailing lists and the preparation & evolution of a variety of dashboards such as tracking customers’ digital behaviour, Digital Team KPI’s, marketing cost per acquisition & sales, for circulation to key stakeholders and senior management team. Primarily work with Oracle Hyperion, Google Analytics, MS Excel, R and RapidMiner.

Responsible for providing data analysis and business intelligence insight across all digital sales, customer journey, cart abandonment, online marketing response and service channels for SSE Airtricity. Completion of numerous environmental noise surveys for a wide variety of projects.Extensive experience in conducting airborne and impact sound insulation testing between residential dwellings.Preparation of detailed responses to Planning Conditions and Requests for Further Information received from both County Councils and An Bord Pleanála. Interfacing with clients and County Councils during preparation of a suitable scope of works to ensure the assessments meet their needs, interacting with other disciplines during design stage of projects and presenting findings at design team meetings.
