Since 2009, I write about food on marchedupre.com. Customized recipes, (photo) blogs and reviews on culinary trips. We (that’s Maarten & me) also sell second-hand and new articles related to cooking and good food. Beautiful products with a story. The story does not end after we sold it. We receive comments, showing us the object’s got a new storyteller. Cookware reminiscent of a recipe from the past. Tableware for an upcoming dinner with friends or family. Hostess of the Study Centre of the Hermitage on the Amstel. The Study Centre offers the visitor of the museum extensive background information on the current exhibition, exhibitions from the past, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg and Russian history.

During my internship at the Rijksmuseum writing entries for the catalogue of the sculpture in the museum, specifically on the terracotta models of Artus Quellinus (1609-1668) for the Amsterdam Town Hall, was my main task.I also prepared an academic article on the then recently acquired late Gothic Christmas crib (repos de Jésus), for the Rijksmuseum Bulletin which was published in December 2014.
