Participating as an undergraduate research assistant in conducting load testing for healthy achilles tendons. Using motion capture and force plates we analyze and convert the data from the test runs to then create a rendering with muscles to see which muscles are being worked and where the most support is needed. In doing these tests, we create optimal and user friendly braces specialized for post stroke patients.

As an intern at D.L. Miner, I was able to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction and design. I utilized my skills in CAD software such as SketchUp and AutoCAD to create detailed plans and 3D renderings, contributing to the development of innovative design concepts. I was able to participate in on-site visits to monitor construction progress, along with dropping in on meetings to discuss project updates and requirements. My internship provided me with valuable skills in CAD, project management, and design execution. This was able to set a strong foundation for my future career as I was able to gain an insight on how a company is structured.
