Opening and locking up various cultural venues, for example, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Aberdeen Maritime Museum and Provost Skene House.For visitors: Providing efficient and courteous service at all times to give visitors an exceptional visitor experience by giving a warm greeting and providing information about exhibitions, events, and facilities, assisting with enquiries, directions, asking visitor survey questions and assisting with accessibility needs. Responding to visitor complaints in an appropriate and professional manner. Furthermore, reception duties involve administrative tasks such as answering enquiries on the telephone, data entry, filing, and record-keeping visitor numbers. In my art practice, I explore the identity and purpose of objects and places. Researching context to these ghostly impressions exposes the raw emotions of erosion and time. It is crucial for me to show these small changes to build a portrait of human life and living. Often empty yet undergo repeated deconstruction, renovation, and reconstruction. These places form fragile memories that I seek to express through drawings, castings, installations, and wooden sculptures, as well as ceramics, painting, printmaking, and photography. My work explores our environment in both its past and present. Seeks to expose the relationships between ourselves and our surroundings through the marks we leave behind. As an Artist, the responsibilities and skills I have are the following: • Meeting Deadlines for applications and exhibitions. • Effective researching. • Following briefs for commissions and creating a piece of work in response to those requirements or applying and writing proposals for galleries and artist residencies applications can also include funding applications. • Work in a Studio and off-site, following the correct health and safety procedures. • Collaborating with artists, the public and other establishments with excellent communication. • Calculating, planning budgets, managing self-employment issues and taxes. • Networking, promoting myself within events or any opportunity when it is appropriate. • Curate and set up exhibition show within my practice, then evaluate the project to the main funder. • Believing in my artistic talent can generating well-developed ideas. • Being organised, determined, and committed to working independently on my art practice. • Maintaining a portfolio (see website) expressing my practice.
