• Analyzes MRP demand and forecast requirements in order to plan and assure timely delivery of goods and services to customers• Responsible for generating and maintaining all purchase orders for new products as well as active SKU’s• Responsible for generating Inter Company orders for material transfers and MRO purchases• Helps problem solve system issues around, planning, purchasing, production, customer orders, ATP, shipping and receiving• Plans and maintains acceptable inventory levels to meet company requirements• Responsible for system item maintenance: NPI set up, Approved Supplier Lists, Sourcing Rules, assignment sets• Reviews all information from different systems to make sure that information is transmitting correctly between them• Generates work orders and Outside Process for material to be reworked or rebranded• Responds promptly to the receiving department for any discrepancy and receiving issues• Keeps management informed of potential issues that could impact the supply of materials• Works directly with shipping department, reviews expedite reports and responds to shortages• Maintains good relations with current suppliers, internal and external, and works with them to improve vendor quality and on time delivery• Resolves open issues with suppliers; returns for non compliant material, shipping discrepancies, quality and pricing issues• Tracks down AP issues to assure supplier payments are on time

Maintains the lowest possible material and product levels in store• Responsible for the management of excess and obsolete inventory• Responsible for Cost Savings Projects

• Works to achieve customer satisfaction by providing the necessary information, service or product according to their needs by:o Receiving, Processing and Confirming orderso Product Sourcing and Quotingo Expediting material with vendorso Resolve daily customer issues• Communicates and coordinates with internal departments in order to respond promptly to customers inquiries and/or complaints• Maintains Key Customer Accounts by updating account information• Responsible for implementing and maintaining VMI programs• Analyzes and evaluates along with Purchasing, product ordering requirements for customers and new item additions to VMI programs• Responsible for preparing CIR reports for Key Accounts
