Formerly a graphic designer/illustrator for over 7 years, I am switching careers to a more administrative and supportive role. My whole life I thought I was an artsy person, then I took a free ikigai test at the recommendation of a friend, and I found out that I am an 'Altruistic Organiser'.I used to specialise in illustration and graphic design, then went on to work in marketing, and I found out that I wanted a supportive role where I could assist someone and make their job easier. It means a lot to me when I can genuinely help someone in what they are doing. Jack of all trades, master of none is sometimes viewed in a derogatory manner, but I believe that not everyone has to be a master of one craft. I take pride in my ability to learn quickly, analyse in detail about something, and high adaptability when confronted with new challenges.
