I had the goal to lead the service delivery for both, the management system certification and the product, processes and services certification, as per the strategic goals and the market needs, to guarantee customer satisfaction and making sure that policies, standards and procedures are well followed, along with the accreditation requirements

Responsibilities: To perform project management and business analysis of global projects, covering the areas of planning, business requirement collection and documentation, design, development, testing, data migration, interfaces, report preparation, budget control, internal communication and roll out. Achievements:As a key IT global project, I led the Certified Client Portal, being the software for communication and service delivery to over 10.000 clients in more than 80 countries

Responsibilities:To perform project management and business analysis of the most important IT global project within the SSC division, covering the areas of planning, business requirement collection and documentation, design, development, testing, data migration, interfaces, report preparation, budget control, internal communication and roll out. Achievements:COSMOS was a key IT project run by SSC business in SGS. This project aimed to delivered IT system based on Oracle CRM product as a replacement of the SSC legacy systems. This was a strategic initiative expected to contribute into the top line (0.5% growth p.a.) and operational efficiency (10% growth p.a.). The project was going to be delivered in 2 phases (May 2013 and January 2014) followed by the global roll out.

Responsibilities:To guarantee the support and feedback for further developments and roll out of the global IT tools for the SSC division in the region. Local project planning jointly with SSC Business Manager; support to SSC Business Managers for KPI monitoring, management reports, preparation of specific local training programmes; Local Super User training and local implementation; third Level support (to Help Desk) and testing as requested.Achievements:Roll out of the IT tools to 6 additional countries in the LATAM region. Operational efficiency contribution estimated in 10%.

Responsibilities:To manage the SSC division by overseeing technical and administrative operations, monitoring performance, defining policies that lead to the fulfilment of the division objectives, defining and analysing key performance indicators, developing new business products and managing new projects for the future growth and sustainability of the sector. Achievements:I changed the process for the freelance contractors’ payments (including a data base development and working with the SSC IT global team), which resulted in a 20% freelance cost reduction, as we had an increase in the cost provisions accuracy, of over 90%. I was also able to enhance the DSO, turnaround time of the certification business service delivery and contractors’ payments performance by 7 days. I managed an operation of 6.3 USD million a year.

Responsibilities:Operative Coordination of SSC division, leading the team to assure the effective managing of the operations, technical and administrative tasks. To design, control and improve key performance indicators. To support the division manager establishing the sector forecast and to proper follow up. Achievements:In both roles as Operation Coordinator for Consumer Testing Services (CTS) and SSC divisions, I developed and enhanced the tools and analysis process for the budget estimations and forecasting resulting in a healthier local contribution and cost reduction (around 20%). Because of this work, I was requested to support the training division on the review of their forecasting and budgeting processes (20% increased efficiency and cost reduction). Operation size of 4.5 USD Million a year

Responsibilities:Operative Coordination of CTS division, leading the team to support the commercial area on the sales process, to assure the effective managing of the operations, technical and administrative tasks; to design, control and improve key performance indicators. Organic structuring of the area.Achievements:I developed a data base for the management of the samples to be send to laboratories. This led to the reduction of the cost provisions (30%), the actual cost of testing and better turnaround times for the testing results (service delivery satisfaction improved in 50%). The information captured through this tool was used in the decision-making process of a laboratory acquisition in Colombia. I managed an increase of operations from 800.000 USD to 1.2 USD million.

Responsibilities:To direct, coordinate and control the staff activities by managing accounting and treasury processes, establishing credit quotas with financial institutions, keeping communication with suppliers and clients, coordinating and following-up of debt collection. Achievements:I structured the company’s budget, reduced the Days Sales Outstanding, the unbilled revenue and the logistic cost of the imported material. Operation size of 500.000 USD.

Responsibilities:Project planning for the design, quality control, manufacture and assembly of the projects. To coordinate the designs delivery. To coordinate third party contractors. To review the commercial proposal made by budgeting area, controlling the project delivery. To organize, plan and forecast the company goals according to profitability acceptance ranges. Achievements:I reduce stock levels of the raw materials using the quality assurance process information (around15%). I also developed a process to support the budget development for the Tender’s proposals using historical information from both manufacturing and quality department.
