Hello! I’m Ruchika Sharma, a Nutritionist with a zest for personalized nutrition and evidence-based practices. I am currently working as a Project Technical Officer at ICMR-NIN for a project. With a Master's in Applied Nutrition from ICMR-NIN and a Bachelor's in Nutrition and Dietetics from LPU, I’ve dived deep into meal planning, product development, and scientific writing. I also provide nutrition consultations and menu planning for corporates, because I believe in- happy employees are well-fed employees.My master’s dissertation focused on New Product Development, where I successfully created ready-to-cook healthy food products. My professional journey also includes an internship at Fortis Hospital in Ludhiana and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where I got hands-on with patients, giving them personalized advice on what to eat and how it could help them feel better. I have also served as a Content writer on a part-time basis where I spearheaded content creation initiatives, enhancing the brand's online presence through compelling blogs, social media posts, and YouTube scripts. Additionally, I have volunteered for various causes, including Sankalp NGO and the National Centre of Excellence and Advanced Research on Diet, UNICEF, where I played a pivotal role in nutrition counseling, tool development, content writing, fundraising, and social media marketing.Another notable project I was involved in focused on the systematic review of the antidiabetic potential of fruit and vegetable waste.
