My journey as a creative professional started long before college, as I spent hours honing my design skills in Photoshop. I knew from early on that I wanted to tell stories through art. This dedication laid the foundation for my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University, where I specialized in Digital Media and Social Sciences. This program not only deepened my understanding of visual storytelling but also provided valuable cultural and social insights. This unique blend of disciplines has equipped me with a holistic approach to creativity, allowing me to craft compelling narratives that resonate on both artistic and societal levels.When I took on my first professional role at the Jerry Falwell Library, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of multimedia. Beyond capturing moments through photography and videography, I actively contributed to design projects, infusing them with my creative flair to enhance visual communications. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively and contribute meaningfully to multifaceted projects. One of my proudest achievements was helping to spearhead the launch of the popular "Humans of the JFL" marketing campaign. This initiative not only showcased the diverse stories within our community but also highlighted my ability to connect with audiences through compelling narratives and visuals.My freelance journey has been a canvas for creativity, where I've crafted captivating designs, and impactful multimedia projects for a diverse range of clients. Each project is not just about pixels or frames; it's about weaving narratives that resonate and inspire.In my various roles, I've refined my technical skills with design and multimedia editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Figma, Penpot, Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, and many others. Outside of work, I'm constantly exploring new techniques and pushing creative boundaries. My goal is not just to meet expectations but to exceed them, leaving a lasting impact through my work.
