I was a key member of the 4 person purchasing team responsible for maintaining New Seasons commissary kitchen's supply lines with a fulfilment rate over 95%. I was personally responsible for the bakery, packaging, cheese and meat purchasing groups with an average of $250K per month in total purchasing. My other regular duties included: receiving, outbound logistics, operations management, Quality Assurance (QA), facilitating FDA/USDA mandated recalls, and managing records and operational standards to maintain compliance with Oregon TILTH (organics certification). In addition, I held a leadership role in the facility's energy conservation project, which reduced overall energy intensity by 7.3% in one year. My responsibilities on this project included data management, continuous process improvement (CIP), staff engagement, and presentations at cohort meetings.

As a supply chain tech, I was responsible for maintaining stock par for 8-10 medical units at Providence Portland. Each unit had regular stock of 200-500 parts with product movement patterns unique to the individual unit.As the on call driver, I was trained on all routes in the Portland metro area.The driving department handled all of the inter-organizational shipment of freight, linens and sterile medical supplies to satellite clinics and other care facilities.
