Since October 2020 I have been working as an apprentice sales consultant for The Safety Centre Ltd. As of May 2023 I passed all three sections of my customer service level 3 apprenticeship. My day-to-day roles at The Safety Centre Ltd are dealing with all height safety enquiries which can range from assisting customers with vertical or horizontal fall protection systems, ladders, walkways, and guardrail systems. I liaise with the end client either face – to – face, emailing or by a telephone conversation. I also attend site myself to inspect Fall Protection Systems while also completing site surveys. When in the office, my main responsibilities consist of pricing and quoting any enquiries that we receive, contract managing, placing orders along with writing up specific method statements for the work. I regularly communicate with engineers by talking them through each job. I am also trained to inspect various PPE so I can offer user demonstrations.
