Worked to manufacture test and and install rectifiers, power conditioners and UPS for US and Canadian Navy ships. Work on high voltage live equipment and with low voltage electronics. Troubleshot units during production and return/overhaul units that were on Navy vessels at the component level. Interfaced between engineering department and the production department while new products were developed, allowing for new test procedures to be developed and any issues in manufacturing to be remedied, allowing product quality to remain highest in industry. Worked alongside the quality team to ensure the units produced met and exceeded IPC standards, giving feedback on issues found during the testing stages, and obtaining information for suppliers during component substitution. Created new testing equipment and helped new engineers develop test fixtures while maintaining and repairing old custom test equipment as it was damaged with use, allowing minimal downtime on the production floor. Performed wiring checks on modules prior to final assembly to ensure the safety of everyone working on the systems, and to save time on rework at later steps. Programmed and calibrated units to ensure all power supplies and UPS systems operate within specifications before leaving the facility.

Monitoring of energy usage rates and compilation of reports for industrial and commercial scale clients. Creation and testing on a novel device used to monitor and provide peak reduction for the town of Berwick by switching energy storage devices within resident's homes. Created testing documentation for this device and sent it of for certification. Estimated energy usage rates based on building plans for retrofitting heat pump/ air conditioning units onto community buildings.
