Oversee the Pre-Sales Engineering staff to ensure that product demos are completed and all pre-sales technical questions are answered. Provide senior technical input for product development. Created and developed product training material and courses. Conduct onsite customer deployment and training sessions along with weekly training webinars for the public. Provide expert Event Log analysis for Prism and for customers. Author whitepapers and website content as needed. Conduct customer site visits to help Sales team close deals. Help customers meet their regulatory compliance needs (including SOX, HIPPA, PCI, FISMA and other DOD requirements). Consult with customers to ensure that their Windows Audit Policies are configured correctly to meet the different regulatory compliance. Oversee the network and system support for Prism, ensuring that mission critical systems remain operational. Order and configure all new systems and network equipment.

Installed network, Windows 2000 Server and 11 users. Taught users how to log into the server and how to use the network to store files. Developed backup solution and server maintenance log. Troubleshoot and resolve all computer related issues. Maintain network and upgrade all PC’s. Setup IT budget, purchased new computer equipment.

Maintain network with 250 users, and 21 servers in 7 locations in the US and Canada. Ensure hardware and software stability. Software on servers includes NT Server 4.0 and Terminal Server 4.0, SMS 1.2, Exchange 5.5, Proxy Server, SurfControl and Citrix MetaFrame 1.8. Major projects were setting up DHCP & WINS, Y2k, reorganized Exchange configuration, deploy SMS to all users, deploy VPN solution, implement new server backup solution using Veritas, help implement JD Edwards OneWorld and implement Citrix MetaFrame. Daily activities include monitoring email and Internet usage, server health; provide second level support for Help Desk, provide usage reports. Order and setup all PC’s, recommend new desktop and laptop standards.
