I have been in the cannabis and hemp industry since 2007 when I moved to Berkeley to train in commercial growing techniques using rockwell and drain to waste systems. In 2010 I started experimenting with hydrocarbon extraction, and in 2015 I filed for a provisional patent for a THCa crystallization process. I have since worked on ethanol systems as well as a variety of hydrocarbon systems. I have designed and modified hydrocarbon systems myself, and trained teams in extraction, post processing, distillation, and product development. I was fortunate enough to work with doctor in chemical engineering for over three years when I was working on my patent, and I find I do a very good job at bridging the gap between the cannabis community and the scientific community.
