- Utilize 3-D motion capture, force plates, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry, and ultrasound equipment to acquire valuable experiential knowledge in preventing injury and improving athletic performance.- This position has offered me the opportunity to propose original research to faculty members, work alongside esteemed researchers and an assortment of athletes, and submit a research abstract to be presented at the the American College of Sports Medicine's national conference.

As a part of the Congdon School of Health Sciences Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SuRF) program I conducted research assessing and improving visual cognition in people with lower limb amputations. For 40 hours each week during the 2022 summer I assisted with data collection, assessed gait cycle kinetics and kinematics using loadsol force-sensing insoles and Opal wearable sensors, and wrote MATLAB code to assist with the analyses.
